The Investment Operations Analyst position blends financial analysis, investment reporting, and business systems skills. The role supports the investment team and other constituents across the firm. Ability to learn processes and perform work requiring accuracy and timeliness is key for this role. Creative problem solving, strong personal skills, and the ability to multi-task will be heavily utilized.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and prepare analyses for use by the investment team and for client communications.
- Create, execute, and allocate trades to implement investment portfolios and client capital flows.
- Oversee external service providers (e.g., portfolio accounting, securities custody, and executing brokers).
- Maintain firm and investment strategy information in investment marketing databases.
- Manage risk through strong procedural discipline and prudent judgement.
- Learn and develop skills while conducting strategic projects and ad hoc assignments.
- Assist other areas of the firm to support investment, compliance, and client needs.

- Strong academic credentials. Bachelor’s degree minimum.
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
- Experience with equity and fixed income securities preferred.
- Experience with financial information platforms, such as Bloomberg, preferred.
- Experience with investment portfolio accounting systems, such as Advent Axys, preferred.
- Experience with investment marketing databases, such as PSN, eVestment, and Wilshire, preferred.
- Strong skills with business applications such as Microsoft Excel. Experience with macros and VBA preferred.
